Sarah & Az with Peter her helper
With the assistance of Hans, and my Attendant Carer, I am training my Dog to become a Service Dog. It is an extremely satisfying experience to see your dog obey you, upon giving commands - such as: "Sit", "Stay", "Come", and "Drop". I find the weekly Training Sessions with Hans to be incredibly enjoyable, informative, and - no to mention - useful. Due to my Cerebral Palsy, I am unable to use any part of my body to signal my Dog to carry out various commands, and have a speech impairment; however, Hans always works out a way of making my Dog listen to me.

Deanna & Cookie
Cookie is now 14 months old and her repertoire of tricks is growing all the time. She will 'open the door' for me, turn on my touch lamp, pick up any dropped items, from the phone, the remote, sunnies, dropped articles of clothing at the clothes line, my hat when it blows off in the wind, pens, to name a few. I'm in the process of teaching her to help me get undressed. You would not believe the difference she is making to my life already. 01/10
